This is one of those old stand-by recipes that everyone seems to have but I never knew how to make them until my mother-in-law gave me the recipe. They also just happen to be my husband’s favorite cookies. However, I think when I actually make them I end up eating most of the batch before he gets to them!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
3 cups quick oats
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp. cocoa
Directions:
Bring sugar, butter, milk and cocoa to a boild. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and quickly beat in oatmeal. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Drop onto cookie sheet and let harden.
