This recipe was shared with me years ago by Ruth Adams. I am posting it here to share with her grandchildren. Ruth was an excellent cook.
Ingredients:
3/4 C. chopped onion
1 crushed garlic clove
1 T. chopped parsley
2 T. oil
1 can (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. basil
1/2 t. oregano
2 C. water
1 lb. cooked ground beef
Directions:
Saute onion, garlic & parsley in oil. Drain off excess oil. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
